iTeach Sitka

iTeach Sitka Brochure

Early this summer, a small group of faculty will converge for a week of intensive work on a course intended for fall or spring delivery (2013-2014). This could be you!

iTeach Sitka will be June 3-7, 2013 and is based on a UAF model which provides opportunities for small groups of faculty to develop their online courses with a supportive group of like-minded faculty. Support staff will teach, coach, guide and mentor you through the various steps of course development. Actual work on your online course will alternate with informational short workshops, showcases, and always, supportive help to walk you through every step. One-on-one instruction, guidance and coaching will be available when needed.

The deadline for applications is April 19 and the process is easy! All we need is the following information:

  • Your name, course number and title.
  • What are the strengths and weaknesses of your current online course?
  • What changes do you want to make in your course?
  • What technologies do you hope to implement?
  • Why should you be selected for iTeach?

Email or deliver application to mmpurvis@uas.alaska.edu.
