Is this secure, how about use of SSN or personal information??

Security is an excellent question. Google will not allow you to ask for a social security number and you would never want personal information like a credit card added to this form. However, that said, it is secure in that you can send it to specific people, open it only to alaska.edu addresses, ask for names to be typed in etc.

Additionally, if you plan to use Google forms to create assessments for your course, it would be no more or less secure than an Blackboard quiz without a proctor.

Speaking of security and authentication type issues, this is your second comment on our “open blog” yet, you are still using an alias– “joe.student@uas.alaska.edu.” We are assuming that you are a person with UAS technology administrative privileges. It would really enrich this conversation if we knew who we were talking with.
